Great North Run

Sunday 12th September 2021

As you’re all aware, the COVID-19 pandemic means an unprecedented amount of disruptions into peoples lives. Many of our running events are affected by the outbreak and will not take place as scheduled. The decision has been made based on the Government advice and Health Officials to prevent the virus from spreading.

The Great North Run was planned to take place on Sunday 13th September 2020 is now cancelled. The 2021 event will take place on Sunday 12th September 2021.

On Sunday 12th September 2021 the world famous Great North Run will celebrate a landmark milestone hosting its 40th year of Half Marathon runs.

Thanks to your support we can continue delivering handcrafted wishes to these brave little troopers. Be apart of our journey by running for us in the WORLDS BIGGEST HALF MARATHON, together with 57,000 other runners.  You will start in Newcastle Upon Tyne passing the Bands on the Run and animated crowds, only to cross the finish line in South Shields on the North East Coast.

This spectacular race is one you don’t want to miss!
