London Marathon 2020

26th April 2020

If you would like to sign up for the 2020 London Marathon, please get in touch as soon as you can!  You can contact samantha@rtcw.org and she will be able to add you to the list against a charity place, or answer any questions you might have about fundraising commitments and what benefits we offer our team of runners.

If you have entered the London Marathon ballot and are currently waiting on results, you can still register your interest for a charity place and then you can let the charity know in October 2019 (when results are released) if you are successful or unsuccessful in the ballot.

If you receive the fantastic news that you are successful, you are still more than welcome to join our charity team as a ballot runner, but without the set fundraising commitments of the charity place runners; You could just raise anything you can for a great cause!

If you are unsuccessful in the ballot, just let us know and we can send you the information on how to register for your place with the charity.

Please note: If you do reserve a space with us, please make sure you let us know when your ballot result is received so we can either take you off the list and free up your place to another runner, or get you registered and secured against that marathon place.

Ballot results are usually released in the first week of October – although this date may vary.

New enquiries are also welcome! If you found out you did not get in via the ballot and saw our advert in the London Marathon magazine or heard about us through another channel, please do make contact about our places!

We can also take registrations from runners now, who are not waiting on ballot results.

Here are the details on the benefits of joining our charity team and what you can expect:

  • A Fundraising Pack
  • A Running Vest in a size of your choice
  • Lots of encouragement, fundraising support and advice
  • On the day guidance and support
  • Charity Hotel information
  • Invite to Pasta/Pizza Party meal the night before the marathon
  • Free coach transfer to start line if staying at the charity hotel
  • The great feeling of running for a very small charity, to help make a BIG difference

Runners who sign up for our charity places pay £150 to register (which is a contribution towards the cost of that place) with a further amount to raise in the sum of £1650 which excludes Gift Aid.

Please contact Sam on 01202 514515 or email samantha@rtcw.org to find out more information about the event.
