Round Table Children’s Wish is the chosen charity of Round Table Britain and Ireland. We exist due to the involvement of Round Tables in local communities to try to make a real difference.
Across the UK, Tablers meet up to have fun and support their local communities. Clubs get together to do anything from paint-balling to football. In addition to these activities, each Round Table organises its own community events, ranging from bonfires to beer festivals. Tables organise these events so that they can put something back into local communities and make a real difference.
Many have also supported us by getting hands on with a wish in their local area. This has included meeting children and their families on our behalf, helping construct playhouses and presenting wishes such as laptops and games consoles. This support is invaluable to us as a charity because it enables the team to spend more time on making handcrafted wishes come true!
